Our Rockpave™ resin material comes from Australia allowing for the smallest amount of Carbon Miles possible. 95% of the Rockpave™ system is sourced from within New Zealand . Rockpave™ resins are 100% solid and do not contain volatile organic compounds such as solvents. Unfortunately a product with the longevity and workability Rockpave™ exhibits is not available from a New Zealand source. The main problem with working with permeable paving systems in New Zealand is the harshness of our U.V. Many similar products are available on the world market with a number of European brands being imported into New Zealand , however these products have not been developed with our incredibly harsh U.V. conditions taken into account. Rockpave™, being developed in Australia , has U.V. stability to meet these harsh conditions. ALL of our aggregate is sourced from within New Zealand with 95% coming from the South Island . Our suppliers have been required to obtain Resource Consents and are commercial operators well aware of their environmental responsibilities. We will not source product from suppliers who do not meet our strict guidelines regarding environmental impact and quality of product.
